She's a doe-eyed, 7 1/2-year-old charmer. Ava is house broken, crate trained, and knows basic commands. She's an avid jogger, and would love to have a running companion for 2-4 miles a day. A walk will do nicely, too, if you're not up to running. Although she loves all humans, young and old, she's very particular about her canine friends, and needs to avoid dog parks. If Ava becomes your one and only, she will shower you with affection and loyalty.

Aza, which means "powerful" in Swahili, lives up to her name. At nine months, this stunning, 90-pound ridgeback puppy will need a home without children under twelve and a guardian with extensive ridgeback experience. A home with another dog or dogs would be the ideal environment for her incredible energy and playfulness. Aza loves the off-lead dog park and easily makes friends with everyone. Although private lessons have taught her all the basic commands, she needs constant reinforcement, encouragement, and new challenges. Chrissie is a vivacious, 8-month-old, little wiggle-worm. Life for her is just one big playtime at this point. She's trying her very best with housebreaking, is learning to sit and stay, and excels at coming immediately when called. She would love to be in a home with playmates, human or canine. Kate is a sweet, little ridgeless RR mix. She and her sister, Chrissie, came to our rescue program from Missouri. They are about 8 months old. Kate weighs about 42 lbs. She gets along with all the dogs in her foster home. Kate goes to Chatfield park where she runs and plays happily. She is house trained and crate trained. She is a young dog, so daily exercise is a must. She is not overly rambunctious in the house. Kate does need work learning to walk on the leash. We have not tested her with cats.
